If you are uncertain about Florida villa rentals and think you should stay in a hotel instead, here are ten good reasons that will make you change your mind.

Home Away From Home – Your villa in Florida will be just like your home because it will have all the same comforts that you have at home making it a better way to relax which is usually a primary reason for a vacation.

Cost – For families who need two or three bedrooms or more, a hotel would require several rooms so that you end up spending more on everything because of multiple rooms rather than condensing costs for one Florida villa. Everything in a hotel is more costly particularly food and for a family with children this can become very expensive.

Privacy – There are no restrictions on dining times that you would experience in a hotel being subject to eating when the dining room is open or room service is available. You could really relax and unwind in a villa and would not have interruptions from a maid to bring you more towels or make up the beds.

Space – In a villa in Florida you would have a whole house for your family to be together without being in cramped separate rooms in a limited amount of space where after a few days it becomes claustrophobic.  Not only will you have multiple bedrooms, but you will have more bathrooms along with a dining area, living area and kitchen. Everyone will have areas that they can retreat to rest or relax instead of being stuck together in one room.

Bathrooms – There is nothing worse than having to wait for a bathroom because someone else is using it. When family members are crowded into a small hotel room with one small bathroom, only one person can get ready making others have to stand in line. With more than one bathroom at your vacation rental you will all be able to get ready at the same time.

Kitchens – With a kitchen you have the ability to cook your meals thereby saving you lots of money. Many vacation rentals have barbeques so that you can eat inside or outside. If you want a snack during the night you have it without having to call room service or go without because it is after hours.

Private Pools – The privacy of your own pool makes a huge difference in terms of relaxation and enjoyment for most families. You could sunbathe by your own pool without a lot of other noisy people disrupting your peace and quiet. If you want company you can invite others over but you won’t have to listen to people that you don’t know and don’t want to talk to.

Parking – Most people will have a rental car when they go on vacation or they have driven the family car. If you stay in a hotel there is normally an additional daily fee for parking the car depending on where you are. With a Florida vacation rental you will be able to park in the garage – just like you do at home. Unless of course it has been converted into a luxury games room for your added enjoyment.

Washing Machines – Although some hotels have facilities for washing clothes, you have to pay for it or you have to find someplace to wash your clothes. With a villa, you will have a washer and drier – just like you do at home.

Independence – A rental allows you the freedom to come and go as you like without worrying about leaving your possessions behind in a room.

want to enjoy your Disney vacation to its maximum, consider Orlando vacation villas as your choice of accommodation rather than a hotel. This is particularly true if you have a few children with you and you would like a bit of peace and quiet now and again.

In order to explain that, just consider a hotel for a while. You have booked yourself, your partner and the kids into a lovely hotel for a couple of weeks, and are looking forward to a great holiday in Orlando, visiting Disney and also many of the other attractions that this part of Florida has to offer.

After checking in comes the first problem. Who sleeps where? Unless you have booked a family room, with everybody spending the vacation in the same room, either the children have to be given their own room, or you and your partner have to split, each sharing the children between you. A lot depends upon how many you have.

However, in the final analysis it doesn’t matter if you have two children or four or even six. You either enjoy your vacation with just the two of you in your own room, and the children in theirs or you don’t. Even now, you can see where Orlando vacation villas are suddenly beginning to look attractive.

No matter how well behaved your kids are, you will always be wondering what they are getting up to, and that isn’t your only problem with a hotel. If your children have reached that age when they must have their own bedrooms, particularly if you have boys and girls, then the hotel costs are going to be pretty steep.

There are more problems, but let’s forget them all, because Disney vacation should not involve problems of any kind. Let’s stop for a minute and look at how a Disney vacation villa can solve all of these problems.

First the rooms: you can rent an Orlando vacation villa with up to six bedrooms, and you need to have an awful lot of kids to fill that. Likely a three bedroom villa would suit you, where two children can have their own rooms, or up to two boys and two girls can share, each of the four having their own bed. They share rooms, but no need to share beds.

Each has its own TV and DVD player and is also en suite. Some even have a games console in the rooms, so nobody is going to get bored. A family of six can live in one of these vacation villas in Orlando vary comfortably, with its own pool for just a little extra, spa, games room and even the kitchen where you can rustle up some breakfast or supper, and still eat out for lunch and dinner if your prefer – you can’t cook in a hotel!

But that must cost a fortune, mustn’t it! No way can you afford that. Well, yes, there is way you can do that. Consider the relative costs. First the hotel. What do you need? A room for you two, one for the boys and one for the girls. Three hotel rooms close to Disney World. Cheap? Absolutely – not!!

Now check the three-bedroom Orlando villa rental. Set in a great resort with a private pool and spa, you pay $160 a night. That’s for all of you! That equates to three double hotel rooms at $54 a night. It’s a no-brainer. It’s £27 a person! You won’t find a hotel anywhere for that price unless you take your own bedbug catcher. But that’s not all: you can get a four bedroom villa with more amenities for just under $200 a night – that’s $50 a room. There is nothing a hotel can offer that you won’t get either in your own villa or offered in one of the many restaurants and amenity centers that are everywhere in Orlando. And you are only 15 minutes from Disney! You have your own DVD player to play your own videos, or rent one for the night. That will be a lot less expensive that watching hotel movies!

Your kids can go to bed any time they like, and watch the movies they want to watch, or view their own TV programs. Perhaps play with the Playstation, but the main thing is that you know they are safe in the same house as you.

Compare that to a hotel: you are continually worried about your children in the rooms next door – are they slipping out without you knowing, are they breaking anything, are the movies suitable. In fact, how much are they running up on the bill by watching these late-night TV movies?

If it has a pool it is shared with the entire hotel, you can’t cook your own food if you feel like it and your drinks will be at hotel bar prices compared to drinking your own home-made cocktails by your own private pool while you cook up some steaks and mushrooms. That’s a vacation!

Friends or family referrals are usually good but if they prefer cheap diners and you like to have a fancy dinner in a fine restaurant then chances are what they think of as “perfect” is not your ideal. First you have to decide exactly what type of villa in Florida you want. You need to determine your location first which will depend on what types of activities you want to do while you are there. Do you want to spend one week in one location and one week in another? Once you have narrowed down the area and decided when you want to go, then you have to get down to specifics. How many bedrooms do you need? How many bathrooms do you want – do they need to be full baths or can one be a half bath without a shower or bathtub? Do you want a pool or spa in the back yard?

All of these questions will help to narrow down your choices so that you can then start looking seriously for the perfect Florida villa. The internet is loaded with advertisements for rentals but how do you know if the picture shown is really what you will get or one taken twenty years ago when it was first built? Or what if it doesn’t have the pool as advertised or is fifty miles away from where you wanted to be rather than five miles away? Well – the answer is – you don’t know unless you can connect directly with the owner who can answer that question as well as many others that you might have.

Connecting with the owners sounds great but how can you do that? Many owners register their homes with holiday villa rental sites thereby giving you access. Once you have found a villa that suits your needs for the dates you require, you can contact the owner to finalize particulars of your visit and get any questions or concerns taken care before your vacation – rather than learn about it later after you have arrived. This allows you to feel confident that the accommodations you want are exactly what you are going to get.

Finding the perfect villa in Florida can be easy simply by doing it from the comfort of your own home and looking at photographs of properties so that you can see them inside and out. The opportunity to talk directly to the homeowner will make your Florida vacation planning a pleasure and the dream will become a perfect reality that will be remembered for many years to come.
