holiday villa
Elphaba asked:

I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have been chatting with my Mum who wants to take my husband, the baby and me on holiday in February for a week when the baby will be 4 months.

It would involve travelling to Madeira a 4 hr flight away and staying in a villa with my family. I don’t have any friends with little babies and so can’t really imagine if this is a good idea or will be hugely stressful (or a bit of both). I plan to be breast feeding which may make things easier.

Any advice??

Nasser

Be patient. I’m taking my baby (when he’s 4 months old) on vacation. We’ll just be driving to a resort which has a full kitchen so I’ll be set. I’m also breastfeeding which I do think makes life easier. Just realize that what used to take you 5 minutes will now take you an hour (such as leaving the house).

4 months…nothing wrong with that. It all depends on what you plan on doing…I mean, if u were going to an amusement park or something, not too much you can do with a baby.

din’t some flight company asks for a doctor’s prescription carrying a pregnant-woman? Well you should consult for doctor’s advice though

For you go if you go if your clothes and for anything work another good idea is to year so it will.
My very large family has gone on vacations with babies from three weeks old to be too bad but always expect things to be crazy bring plenty of extra clothes everywhere you and take change of clothes and for you go if your clothes and youll find ways to.

personally, I’ve traveled with a wide range of ages starting at a couple weeks old to 14 yrs old. Its easier traveling with a baby. they are so much easier to entertain
