Greece is a great tourist attraction since it offers some holiday spots that may be a crowded city inhabitants dream. The country has still preserved its ancient spell and its natural beauty, so that an excursion there can resemble a trip back in time. Thus you have the real possibility of escaping the daily stress.

The country is a place filled with fine beaches and every corner of it, be it mainland or the islands, offers relaxation resorts at every step. It’s truly the land of beaches, so there are always some to choose from, be they crowded or silent. Holiday villas Greece are the best option to explore the natural beauty of the Greek Island Holiday.

Another tempting fact is that a trip there is quite easy to undertake. You can, for example, book for the Greek jet Luton-Athens flight. The thing is you should be organised and have your excursion planned before you step foot in Greece.

It’s really compulsory to figure it out before you leave for the beautiful country if you want everything to go nice and smooth. The difference between skilled tourists and awkward ones is that the first have the entire trip to the destined spot figured in their minds before they leave home. It’s all up to you to conduct a personal investigation of the numerous holiday offers in Greece, pick one after you’ve informed yourself properly and talk to the best Greek holiday specialist.

Here are some brief descriptions of some of Greece’s true pearls of the sea, but only visiting them will provide you a feeling of a lifetime.

Corfu lies at the western outskirts of Greece. It is part of the Ionian Islands and is closest to the Albanian cost. Corfu villas offers an enchanting display of Roman, Venetian, French and modern Greek styles, besides the lofty green of the olive trees and its alleys paved with blocks of stone, all in the middle of a heavenly sea.

Crete, the bulkiest Greek island has its rampant economy based on tourism. If you visit Crete villa you will find the ancient monuments from the dawn of Greek history and its beautiful beaches with natural beauty will let you feel not to leave this place.

Kefalonia was once voted as 10th in a world scenic beauty league. The sea here is filled with fish of which you can get a taste of and you may also feel the aroma of the old wines made from local, special type of grapes. What’s nice is that the temperatures never reach extremes of warmth as in other parts of the country.

Zante, or Zakynthos unveil to anyone wanting to stop there an exotic combination of olive trees, brightly coloured flowers and vineyards, all crowned by the vibrant night life and its lights.

Paxos, a mere lump of rock has preserved the Greek hospitality and spiritual remoteness from the surrounding world.

My fiance’ and I are trying to save for a wedding and a house, but we would still like to go on a vacation this summer.. any ideas? We live in PA. We would like to take a week. Driving would probably be cheaper than flying. I don’t know if sharing a villa with people we don’t know would be ok, anyone done that before? We could afford a hotel if its like under $60 (we only want to spend around $500 total including food etc). We don’t really have anyone out of state that we would want to go stay with either. Should we just camp out in the back yard? Haha. All ideas are appreciated.
Laugh-n-fart - Nice…

Hi, me and my gf are looking to get a last minute holiday away somewhere! The criteria is. It has to be a beach holiday, a cheap one ideally (somewhere out of the euro currency) somewhere that will have good weather this time of year! Has anyone had any luck finding such a deal?

It could be a last minute private villa/flight combo! Or a package deal..

Anyone have any thoughts?!

Cheers

We are a group of 14+ adults looking for a villa/house (with a pool) on the beach in Spain, Portugal or Greece. We are planning a week long vacation for next summer.

Anyone have any good recommendations?
Thanks for the ideas, Steve. I just sent you an email.

Hello again. we will be staying at Holiday Inn Zocalo from July 24-30 .We need an English-speaking guide to take us to the Guadalupe Shrine on Saturday and Sunday, July 26 and 27. If he has a car we can hire for the day, it would be better. Safety is our concern as we’re not familiar with the place. Also, not too expensive please as we are on a budget. Any help will be appreciated.

Also, what would be interesting things we can bring home and where would it be cheaper to buy?

I have never really been away on holiday much before, in fact last year was my first real holiday abroad. I cant wait for this years holiday, there’s my bf, 6yr old daughter and myself as well as my bf’s sister and her daughter. We are going to Spain and are staying in a little village in a villa.

I have no idea how much spending money to take for the 3 of us especially as we are going to a “home from home” villa. What do you all think. Answers in UK sterling please :-)
