We are going to spend a week at a villa in the Tuscan countryside near the following towns/cities – Chiusi, Sarteano, Spineta, Fonte Vetriana, Cetona, Malapesa, Colle Sant’Alberto, San Francesco, Santo Stefano, Montepulciano, Italy in late June. Does anyone have any suggestions for day trips near these towns or other towns? We like things cultural, historical and artistic.

I am renting a vacation villa in another country. The owner, who is an American and resides in CA, asked for a money order. I don’t feel comfortable just sending a money order without some kind of paper trail. is this a common practice with vacation rentals to avoid taxes and fees?

Looking for a tropical vacation spot that is rather small and offers its own villas. My husband and I don’t like crowds or large resorts. Something small, private, on the beach… Any ideas? 10 points to whoever has the best vaca spot picked out…

All my friends come home from holiday with stories about the tons of friends they’ve made there and how many boys they’ve met and how much fun they’ve had – but everytime i’ve been on holiday, i’ve never made any friends. I’m staying in a villa with my dad, step-mum and 2 step-brothers. they’re the only people I ever go on holiday with and I find I get really bored very easily, so how would I go about making friends when I’m staying in a villa?

We are trying to book a holiday but are not sure where to go. We need a place that is hot, sunny, right on the beach, near town, shops, resturants and markets etc.

There will be my mum, dad & 3 younger sisters in one villa, but we will need another one, or an appartment close by for me and my friend. The villa must have a private pool atleast.

It must also be somewhere relitavly cheap and in Europe.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
