Villas the Algarve

In today’s strained out life, a holiday is what everyone demands. But a holiday usually means hefty hotel bills, strenuous travel and uncalled for attention by staff and tourists guides. Under such circumstances, the holiday itself becomes a tedious work routine. Now what if we bring you to a quite, spacious and luxuriant villa in Portugal, one of the most popular holiday spots in the world? What if the villa is reserved for you? Your times and your schedules are followed and all the amenities as well as the luxuries are located at a stone’s throw from where you are free to live the life you want, uninterrupted.

Located in southwestern Europe, Portugal is the westernmost country of mainland Europe, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean. Situated to the south of Portugal, on the southwest tip of Europe, is one of the world’s most beautiful, unspoilt stretches of beach and coastland- Algarve. This is in fact one of the warmest spots in Europe, with the temperatures usually ranging between a comfortable 15-31 degrees centigrade.

A privately owned villa in Portugal can lead to an experience of pure bliss. The Algarve is a popular destination for tourism primarily because of its beaches, the Mediterranean climate, safety and relatively low costs. During the summer months, visitors can enjoy day trips on boats offering game-fishing and traditional river cruises.

Silves is one of the historic locations close-by. This historic location bears the distinction of having been the scene of battles between Islamic Moors and Christians. On their way to the Holy Land, Crusaders had played an important role in Algarve in the 13 th Century. This is now a quiet market town in the Algarve’s main citrus-growing area. The place is also a delightful destination for those interested in wine.

A holiday in a privately owned villa in Portugal is an experience of pure bliss. One such Vila is located at the Vale da Telha. The Vila comes with a private pool and landscaped gardens. This spacious villa is located in Costa Vicente National Park in Portugal, and is adequate for six to eight people. The old historic market town of Aljezur is close by and offers all the rustic delights Portugal has to offer. There are also many shops and restaurants to discover as well as a sprawling regional market every first Monday of each month.

Located conveniently near western Algarve’s wonderful uncrowded sandy beaches, the Vila is luxuriously crowned with terrace pools set in an area that has been handpicked by specialists. There are many ways that western Algarve offers to sooth one’s tensed nerves. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the Boavista and Palmers golf courses; the Parque da Floresta, Penina. Many family attractions ranging from horse-riding and fishing to tennis are available for evenings full of peace and happiness. Portugal, and in particular, the Algarve, is renowned for its superb surfing beaches. Guests at the Vila are welcome to combine both a family beach and sporting holiday.

The sheer ambience of the Portuguese is the essence of the location.  Style and friendliness are synonymous with this relaxing Vila that can rejuvenate you from all your stress and tensions. So come, celebrate a blissful life at the Vila Portugal. Relive your senses and go back to work- new, re-born!

Are you one of the people who want to turn their properties into successful vacation rentals, but still confused where to start from? Then read on, this article is just for you.

If you have a nice property to rent it out for vacations, then it s time to tell the whole world about it. Today, in this ‘online age’, you can easily introduce your vacation property to a large number of people who can be your potential guests.

It is really important that you provide more and more information about your vacation property as it is an important part to market anything. You can get a good insight when you put yourself in the shoes of the potential guest about what they may want and where they might look for. You should post enough information like anything from local restaurants to the historic attractions and from medical facilities to the theme parks. You might be thinking that one person may not ask so many questions like these, but then you forget that there are thousands of people who look for different kinds of information according to their taste and interest.

Now, first decide what amount of money you are willing to spend to advertise your vacation property? It is important to set the annual spend relative to the expected returns.

You can join the online property marketing sites and forums after them the rates for annual membership to display your property. Here an important thing to note is that suppose if your area is seasonal, then it become highly unlikely that you will go for the full one year listing at premium rates.

At the vacation property listing websites, you get the value for your money as they really work hard to expose your vacation home to thousands of vacationers globally. The online advertisement works much better compared to the print media as now it has wider reach to the people.

Also you can go for your own website. It may sound a bit difficult, but investing in this could boost the earnings. You can set up the website either with a simple design or opt for a big, glitzy one, the more you invest, the more you get. Initially the will have to compete with other countless sites to attract visitors; it may not be possible to beat the property marketing sites in terms of search engine rankings, but it is proven fact that owing a personal website shows a professionalism in the eyes of potential vacation guests.

You can mention the website name on your business cards and ads, it will really help. And if you decide to have your own website plus an ad space on a leading vacation property, then you can make it beneficial two ways. The ad on a property listing site will have the URL of your site, so the visitors will definitely visit your site from there too if they find the initial information interesting. So, having a personal vacation property website will always help to market your property.

Next point is that advertising on multiple sites always benefits as more people come to know about your property. Just look for the best available deals for price, traffic and other things.

Always plan the advertising in advance and not at the last minute before the available dates. It helps generate interest and bookings too.

Make sure the utilities work properly and add any extra comforts you can like DVD’s, books etc. Always remember that word of mouth works best for repeated business, so the more excellent service you give to the guests, the more guest you get through him.

Last, but not the least thing, keep in mind that first impression really matters. People spend their hard earned money on their vacations to have good times. You should show as much as possible photos of your property and they should be actual and clean. If a guest does not find an amenity that was advertised in the ad, then it is 100% sure that not only he will never return in the future, but also you will get a ‘bad word’ as he will post negative comments on the site about you and your property, so please refrain from such tricks.

Pour yourself a cuppa, relax and think of faraway places on the beach, a Cyprus holiday villa pop into your head?

Well that obviously means you are supposed to be lounging on the beach in a Cyprus holiday villa. Cyprus is the preferred location for many who are looking to relocate or buy a holiday home for personal use and/or investment and rentals. The main issues in its favour are; a fantastic climate, English is widely spoken, driving on the left with the same road signs as home and voted the best retirement location by the Homebuyer & Property Investor Show. Cyprus property for sale also benefits from low buying and selling costs and taxation compared to other EU countries. Just compare the prices of an on the beach Cyprus holiday villa to other countries and be amazed!

Why not book yourself some cheap car hire in Cyprus, driving maps are usually located in the glove box so you can explore and take a look at any beach for a Cyprus holiday villa. There are many to be had and by looking around you will find the most suitable location to invest in your very own piece of beach and Cyprus holiday villa. Just imagine relaxing on the beach in Cyprus and the holiday villa right next to you is yours, wonderful. No more having to pack bags and sun beds, as they will be right on your very own doorstep.

In Cyprus, driving maps are a wonderful tool to use especially if you like going off the beaten track, a Cyprus driving map will show you all the tracks and mountain roads, which is fantastic if you love off road driving. Believe us when we say there are some pretty hairy tracks out there. Not for the fainthearted but great fun!

It is not only near the beach a Cyprus holiday villa can be found, you will also find them in the mountains, which are equally enchanting, nestled amongst the pine trees. Imagine sipping your early morning coffee surrounded by birds singing and the breeze gently rustling the trees.

Forget the wind and rain and your high heating bills, in Cyprus a holiday villa in the sun will have some stunning views across the Mediterranean, and the only thing that will interrupt those views will be the ships sailing by!! Just think, the beach in Cyprus, a holiday villa, private, relaxing and now imagine that it is you lazing there sipping an ice cold beer, and the best thing is that your children are having loads of fun and are safe.

You may think that finding the perfect Beach in Cyprus and a holiday villa will take forever. Well believe it or not it is so easy, get onto any internet search engine and type in “beach Cyprus holiday villa” and you will see many of them on offer. My boyfriend & I are planning our once a year “big vacation” we usually take 3-4 day small vacations throughout the year then one big one for like 2 weeks. This year we decided on going to Cabo San Lucas for 12 nights. We want to go in May 2009. (we always plan our trips way in advanced)
We do have a few questions on lodging & spending money.

Our top 3 choices for lodging in no particular order are:
Villa Estancia
Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Grand Spa
Pueblo Bonito Rose

We really want somewhere close to restaurants, shopping & nightlife.
Has anyone ever stayed at any of these hotels or have any opinions on them?
We were also talking today about how to spend money in Cabo. I am not sure I am comfortable using my debit/credit card at different places in Mexico & I definitely dont want to bring a huge wade of cash down there. What is the safest way to spend money there?

This trip is definitely focused on relaxation. We both work full time jobs & attend school part time and vacations are important to us. We would want to do things like sleep in late, go to brunch & then maybe hit the beach & later go out for drinks. Are things like this possible in Cabo?

We are looking to book our trip in the next 2 weeks, so any information provided is appreciated. thanks in advance =)

The Canary Islands is regarded as the outdoor lover’s winter playground, the walker’s paradise and the beach lover’s dream come true. It is a group of islands blessed with a great climate, beautiful holiday villas with swimming pools and lots to do.

The Canaries offer one of the easiest escapes from a snowy European winter and tourists flock there on vacation taking advantage of the cheap holidays available. There is a terrific choice of holiday villas, self catering apartments and country farmhouses available to rent from their owners.

The Islands have a preferred climate and constant temperature through all the year. They have superb beaches with holiday apartments dotted along the shore. For those with a slightly larger budget, the islands are home to some of the most spectacular holiday villas in Europe. Many tourists return year after year renting one of these spectacular holiday homes.

The Canary Islands are made up of 7 larger islands (Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, Gomera, Hierro) and a few smaller ones (Alegranza, Graciosa, Clara, Roque del Este, Roque del Oeste und Lobos). What tourists do not realize until they visit more than one is that the landscape of each island is radically different to the others.

The Islands are a natural paradise for lovers of nature and water sports enthusiasts. The Canaries are home to some many indigenous animals and plant life. Many tourists go there for the fishing as the local waters provide some of the world’s richest hunting grounds for deep-sea fishermen. It is not uncommon to find shark, and tuna and marlin are to be found in abundance here. Some tourists come especially to hunt for a glimpse of the bottle-nosed dolphins and pilot whales which are often seen swimming see around the islands.

It is said that once you have rented a beautiful holiday villa in Gran Canaria with a private pool, or a self catering apartment in Lanzarote, or even a holiday cottage in Fuerteventura, that you will end up going back year after year. The year round warm climate, with long hours of sunshine, together with the beautiful clean beaches help make the Canary Islands one of the top holiday destinations in Europe. Holiday villas and self catering apartments in the Canary Islands are plentiful, and many tourists now stay in these holiday homes taking advantage of direct holidays.

The development of the Islands for tourist areas to cope with an increase in Canary Island holidays has given the Islands modern resorts many of the amenities and attractions typically expected in any other major European holiday destination. The Canary Islands are unique in the fact that each Island has its own individual twist depending on which you choose.

The food is a mix between Spanish and African with some Latin-American influence thrown in for good measure. Many holiday makers choose to stay in holiday villas or self catering apartments as they give them the independence to sample the local cuisine and live like the locals.

Fish is a much loved food in the Canary Islands and is often served with extremely tasty sauces that are made locally. Desserts are often made with the Islands’ own fruits, which are plentiful due to the warm weather. Fried bananas, grown locally, are a particular favourite with many of the millions of visitors who take their vacations every year staying in holiday homes in the Canary Islands.
