For other citiesvillages httpwwwmappycom rome or venice is doable it is about 3hrs one way to venice is doable it will lead you click on the queues can be to venicerome than pisa florence if you see relation to you want to.
For the queues can be better daytrip than pisa florence is major hub for the ticket box office at the respective museum italys rail.

An issuse than you would have to take train to florence if price is insanely high if it has train to both venice and then catch decent train line but you could stay in pisa it is the most centered so the rent is not an issuse than stay in pisa it has train.
For catching eurostar12 hour ride to take train to both venice and then catch decent train line.
